I left for basic training for the United States Army nine days after graduating high school in 1998. I was stationed at Fort Jackson, SC.

After graduating basic training I was then stationed to Fort Sam Houston, TX for Field Medic School for the United States Army.

My Experience

After completing my Cosmetology education, I had the wonderful opportunity to work for the Academy of Hair Design in OKC, OK as a Master Instructor of Cosmetology. It was there that I had the INCREDIBLE experience to work alongside and be educated by the LEGENDARY Joe Tarnacki. He is a master at the craft of haircutting.Thank you Joe for taking the time to teach me the craft. I absolutely love to cut hair. I would not be able to say that without the skills you instilled in me. Also a BIG thank you to the owners Jean Ann Duncan, Shelly Gitthens and the rest of my AHD family. I am better at what I do because of all of you.
